SREBRENICA CASE- WESTERN FORMULA FOR THE BALKANS: “DEVIDE ET IMPERA” (editor’ comment)

Such one sided (black&white) approach by the major Western powers certainly is not going to bring the peace and reconciliation to the Balkans, and is not going to heal the wounds between various religious and ethnic entities there. Probably in the previous sentence lies the real answer to such “irrational” and inflammatory Western behavior in the Balkans, which in my opinion can be described simply by the old Latin formula: “Divide and conquer”. And we all know very well who the real “conqueror” and the real culprit, in this story is…

Zamyatina: UN resolution on Srebrenica designed to justify NATO bombings & discredit Republika Srpska

“The resolution made it possible to blame one ethnic group as a culprit of all the wars that occurred in the Balkans in the 1990’s and hence to justify NATO’s actions of 1999 when the pact claimed it was pounding with bombs the guilty ones,” she said. “The West is considering Bosnia’s Serb Republic as a Slavic element of the Balkans that is clinging to Russia,” Dr. Guskova said in a summary. “This element is to be split or, much better, destroyed as a political factor, and the resolution would have made it possible to raise a possibility of a revision of the Dayton peace accords on Bosnia and Herzegovina, which in turn might entail elimination of the Serb Republic…

Serbia has the right not to deliver Seselj on the basis of United Nations resolutions 37/194- Expert

I would like to inform you that according to the UN Resolution 37/194 from 1982, “Annex”, Principle 1 and 6 (attachment), it will not be possible to demand that Mr. Vojislav Seselj returns to the prison at this stage. Since he suffers from incurable disease, he is now legally just a MEDICAL PATIENT. He will most certainly not be in position ever to be returned to the ICTY prison. Therefore it is even illegal to try to exercise political pressure and to try to force Serbian government to arrange for an again illegal return of Mr. Seselj to the Hague prison.

Beginning of uprising in Serbia!?

While these protestors that today took the streets of the Serbian capital Belgrade were very angry and loud, the majority of Serbian people are very silent. Probably too silent, and that eerie silence (for people that know well Serbian history and mentality) is the most scary part. After such “calm weather”, usually the “violent storm” would come. And something is obviously looming on the Serbian political horizon…
