The LPR people’s militia together with the Union of the Afghanistan veterans of the Lugansk region handed over 8 bodies of Ukrainian servicemen killed in the area of Debaltsevo. The bodies were handed over to the Ukrainian volunteers in the presence of the OSCE members.
According to the militia’s chief of staff Sergey Kozlov, the process of handing bodies over by the Ukrainian side is very slow and disorganized.
“The swap of bodies has never taken place, and I hope it will never happen. War is war, but bodies must be handed over to the families without any additional requirements,” – Chairman of the Union of the Afghanistan veterans of the Lugansk region Sergey Shonin said.
