In 2000, although very young journalist, I requested and succeeded to be received by an official of the Yugoslavian Government. I told him that Otpor (a new opposition movement created by the CIA) should not to be underestimated because I have obtained the information that they were building a global network to train activists to be used in the destabilizing of other countries.

  He replied that there was nothing to fear because the situation was under control, both- in regard to the activities of Otpor in Yugoslavia, as well in regard to the international factors.

Shortly thereafter Yugoslavian (Serbian) government was overthrown , for which the Otpor played a decisive role. In the new course of the country, with the help of money from the USA and Soros, `Otpor` was further structured and transformed to the training center for the foreign “revolutionaries”, renamed to CANVAS. Their new role was to train the agents specialized in the creation of destabilization movements aimed at favoring American Imperialist penetration.

The students of CANVAS came from many countries and were the protagonists of the so-called “democratic revolutions”, spread around the world.
Now we learn that the Venezuelan coup leader, Juan Guaidò, was one of the students of CANVAS, trained in Belgrade since 2005.

If they were stopped in time, so many wars and suffering could have been avoided. Now we have to fight to defend Venezuela and other countries that do not want to bend (to Western Imperialism).

We do this with conviction and determination, but also with the anger of knowing that history could have gone differently.
